About Seaside Spine and Pain Center
Seaside Spine and Pain Center is an interventional pain management practice in Palm Coast, Florida — one office, serving Flagler County and the surrounding communities.
People usually find us after a long stretch of not getting answers. The pain has a name by now — back pain, sciatica, a bad knee, neuropathy — but no one has explained what is actually causing it, and the plan so far has been to manage it and hope. That is the gap this practice exists to close.
Diagnosis comes first
Interventional pain management means treating pain at its source rather than covering it from a distance. That only works if the source is correctly identified, so the first visit is a diagnostic visit: history, physical exam, a review of any imaging you bring, and — when it helps — a diagnostic injection that can confirm which nerve or joint is generating your symptoms.
Our philosophy is straightforward: restore function, reduce pain, and minimize medication reliance. Treatment is stepwise. We start with the least invasive option that fits your diagnosis and move further only if your case calls for it.
Minimally invasive care
The procedures we perform are minimally invasive and image-guided — nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other targeted treatments. Many of them are options for people who want to avoid or delay surgery, or who have already had surgery and still hurt.
You can read about the problems we treat on our conditions page, and the procedures themselves on our treatments page.
A bilingual practice
Care is provided in both English and Spanish. Explaining a spine problem is hard enough in your first language, and no one should have to make a medical decision through a translation they only half followed.
Who you will see
Dr. Manuel López, a board-certified pain management and rehabilitation physician, leads the practice. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency and his pain fellowship at Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center, and brings more than a decade of experience to Flagler County.
